Privacy Policy & Direct Notice to Parents
Effective Date: July 21, 2026
At iLoveSol.com ("iLoveSol", "we", "us"), we are deeply committed to protecting the privacy of children and families. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices in compliance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and general privacy standards.
1. Parent / Guardian Account Requirement
iLoveSol requires that all account creation, registration, and subscription purchases be completed by an adult (parent, legal guardian, or educator over the age of 18). Children under 13 are strictly prohibited from registering accounts independently.
2. Data Collection Practices for Children
We adhere to strict data minimization principles under COPPA:
- Information Collected for Child Profiles: Parents may create child profiles containing only a nickname/first name, avatar selection, and grade level.
- No Personal Identifiers Collected from Children: We never collect a child's email address, full legal name, phone number, physical address, or geolocation data.
- No Third-Party Targeted Advertising: We do not serve third-party targeted advertisements or place behavioral tracking pixels on child-facing learning applications or dashboards.
3. Information Collected from Parents
When a parent registers an account, we collect the parent's full name, email address, and payment information. Payment transactions are processed securely via encrypted third-party payment gateways (Stripe / Apple Pay). We do not store full credit card information on our servers.
4. How We Use Information
Parent contact information is used strictly to communicate account status, progress reports, and billing receipts. Child profile data is used solely to tailor grade-adaptive math, reading, spelling, and logic practice modules.
5. Parental Rights under COPPA
Parents and legal guardians have the right at any time to:
- Review the information collected from their child’s profile.
- Request the deletion of their child’s profile data.
- Refuse to allow further collection or use of their child’s profile data.
To exercise these rights, please contact our privacy compliance team at privacy@ilovesol.com.
